NextsAI Documentation
Start with your first project, then learn about models, files, connected apps, and the local-first privacy boundary.
Nexts is a local-first desktop AI work assistant. Project files, conversation history, and most product data stay on your computer. The account service only handles control-plane information such as sign-in, subscriptions, devices, and usage quotas.
New to Nexts?
Start with a real task — you don't need to configure everything first. Sign in, create a project, describe your goal, and Nexts will prompt you when it needs files, models, or connected apps.
Start with a real goal
You don't need to learn every feature before your first task. Open Nexts, describe what you want to get done, and add files, projects, or connected apps as the task requires.

Suggested path
The docs are organized as Getting started → Workflows → Capabilities and connections → Configuration and security → Help. When you have a specific question, use the search at the top of the page — there's no need to read in order.
Nexts never uploads your projects, conversations, files, or other private desktop content just because you open a documentation page.
